Hundreds of thousands of Iranians have turned out in the capital, Tehran, for the funeral of former President Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei led the prayers at the ceremony. Rafsanjani, president from 1989 to 1997, died of a heart attack on Sunday at the age of 82.
He was one of the most influential figures since the 1979 revolution, criticised for his harsh rule but later becoming a key supporter of reformists.

I wonder why they should be upset and attend funeral of such an evil politician who made a mass in political situation of Iran when the Revolution of Iran in 1979 happened !!! He betrayed his people and couldn't have proper control on the Revolutionary Guard of Islamic Republic's criminal actions and its violence during his period of presidency that they treated people in any arbitrary way they wanted, scared people, killed and executed many of journalists, web bloggers, those who had intellectual ideas etc ! and Hashemi Rafsanjani didn't bother to think what was going on at the time !
He was just thinking about economic development without thinking of political side of development ! now stupid people cry and get upset for his death and some brainless actors and artists send messages of condolence for his family and other authorities for Hashemi's death ! That 's not fair !
