Jan. 10, 2017 - FBI Director James Comey today refused to say whether the FBI had investigated ties between Donald Trump’s associates and the Russian government, in response to a question from Senator Ron Wyden, D-Ore., during a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing today.
Sen. Wyden believes the American people have a right to know the answer to this question before January 20.
If you have an answer please lay it out and tell my why you think pushing this garbage is in our best interests. And please don't toss off some ignorant platitudes about how we care so much about Crimea or Hacking or any of the other hypocritical comments you might be thinking about making. I'm well aware of what the US does to other nations as a matter of policy and we are far worse than Russia. Please don't give me the US is the in-disposable and oh so exceptional nation either.
Not that I actually think you will answer to me, but before long you will have to answer to the voters. You might soon find out that they don't see anything in this for them either.
Oh and doesn't this embarrass you? It embarrassed me just watching it. That and I was insulted as well. My intelligence that is. You acted almost as if you thought people like me would actually believe you were sincere. One last question, What drives people to engage in this kind of nonsense? Seriously what could be worth making such a fool of yourself in public for? Nobody with a brain in their head is buying this nonsense so anyone worth respecting has just loss all respect for you. Doesn't that mean anything to you?
Does the CIA KNOW? The CIA, and the FBI, don't seem to know much based on their question periods, by the congressional oversight commission!
McCainism? HcCainism? HacCainism? HackCainism? Senator HcCain!
Gosh I hate politicians who pretend to work for the people, but lie in every breath!
Nice desperate fabrication!
Then acting as if it were a forgone conclusion- Great tactic!
Russians never hacked any election!!!
Tired and boring!!
WOW! This is unacceptable. Their excuse continues to be both ridiculous and untrustworthy. They claim they cannot publicly disclose their proof because of its sensitivity. As a technical guy I can tell you that this is absolute bunk. Throw us a bone that doesn't compromise your capability. Everyone knows we have the ability to trace deep - that's not a big secret. All you have to tell us is that you were able to use IP tracing to identify a known server(s) or devices in a known location that is within Russian government facilities or tied to a user(s) who is a known Russian government sponsored hacker. That disclosure would not
compromise anything, therefore the fact that you won't give us anything, It means that you don't have it. Anything else is bull.
To the intelligence community: So your intelligence gathering is all analytical assessment now - which is primarily conjecture by so called experts. Because all you do is read a boring subjective analysis report and give a stuffy cold war history lesson, the people will continue NOT to trust you OR accept your explanations. You have got things WRONG way more times than you have got it right. 16 intelligence agencies got weapons of mass destruction WRONG. So the reasons we have been mired
down in war for the last two decades is because you were WRONG. Why should we trust you? So the fact that you can't give us - the American People - any level of detail at all, means that you don't have it and that if you supplied the shreds of detail you do have, you would be taken apart by the greater technical/cyber community which would tell you that you are full of crap and you just can't afford that kind of additional egg on your face. So was it private hackers who were Russian citizens or working possibly as members of Anonymous? There are a lot of tech savvy young Russians on PCs that know how to hack really well and do it often to private citizens and public organizations around the world. That doesn't mean that they were sponsored or are part of the Russian government. However if you have made that linkage without proof, that could be a good reason you won't release your findings. You are right now as we speak trying to find that proof or linkage definitively. You're out of time.
As things stand now, you the intelligence community are becoming a laughing stalk and source of embarrassment to both the American People and the world. By not giving us more detail, this allows folks to come up with all kinds of alternative explanations, conspiracy notions, and nefarious motives. When the news services show a PNG with an interface screenshot that is from the video game Fallout4, that just undermines your credibility even more. Looks like you're just caving in to whatever political or motivating power behind the curtain is directing your efforts and then just making shit up to comply. You need to fire all supervisors at all levels and hire younger more tech savvy and honest people to all of those positions - and get rid of the old fogey cold war era people who do nothing but surf the internet all day, sit in meetings and basically act as potted plants on their second retirements in government service for 30 or 40 years. Time to change things up intel community. If I was the President Elect I would be questioning your assessments and your ability to function in a meaningful way for both
the government and the people as well. What good are you now? You're a joke and listening to the entire whole video of the hour and 31 minute committee hearing validates that even more for me.
God Bless America.
God Bless President Trump.
God Bless Israel.
